COOL CRAFT
BY: TAYLOR WOLLER

Ever try to find something comfy to wear around the house? Well, try this new technique and you will have a comfortable shoe you can try. To make a pair of fabulous newspaper sandals, you will need a lot of old newspapers, scissors, tape, and markers. Take your newspaper sheets and fold them into 2-inch wide strips. To begin your sandal, take one of the strips of paper and bend it into a tight oval shape. Take the next strip of paper and tape it to the end of the first one. Wind it around the oval you created. Keep this process going until you have an oval which is slightly larger than your foot. Tape the last strip of paper around the whole oval and tape in place securely. Now, take another sheet of newspaper and wrap and tape the sandal to give it a unified look. Take another newspaper strip, trim it short, and tape it to either side of the sandal to create a slip for your foot. Now, make another sandal so you will have two and decorate them with markers. Enjoy crafting!
